I JUST GOT A PHONE CALL FROM MS KYLEE CRYIN' HER EYES OUT, POOR THING. SHE IS STILL IN THE HOSPITAL WITH A "STOMACH THING" SO THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO TIE HER TUBES THE DAY AFTER MARISKA'S BIRTH & SHE CAN'T GO HOME. THIS "BUG" IS WHAT STARTED HER CONTRACTIONS IN THE 1st PLACE. SHE CAN'T KEEP ANYTHING DOWN & THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. IF SHE'S NOT BETTER WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS THEN THEY ARE GOING TO CALL IN SOMEONE FROM "INFECTIOUS DISEASES". I TOLD HER TO CALL MUSC & SEE IF THIS IS A PATTERN WITH PREGNANT WOMEN WHO HAD GASTRIC BYPASS SURGERY ... JUST IN CASE THE COMBINATION KEEPS THE BODY IMBALANCED. SHE WAS VERY LOW ON POTASSIUM SO THEY HUNG SEVERAL BAGS OF THAT & SHE'S DEHYDRATED FROM NOT BEING ALBLE TO KEEP ANYTHING DOWN. SHE'S ALSO LONELY & JUST PLAIN FEELIN' CRAPPY. I will pray. Infectious Diseases my foot, she just has the flu. I had it and unfortunately it lasts about 14 days. I think they should just let her go home and let the bug run its course, its a virus, so nothing they can do. You know they don't like to give antibiotics for anything anymore, so poor thing. I will pray she gets home, I know she just wants out of there, but better to stay then to go home too early. Hope she feels better soon. Being dehydrated will make you sick. Tell her to make sure the dummies are running D5 in her like they did me....dextrose. I got sooo sick and they made me dump, I threatened to pull out my own IV. She just needs to drink lots of propel, and take some anti nausea meds, and she will be okay. Sometimes hospitals over medicate us and put us through things we shouldn't go through....speaking of my last time in the hospital. I had to FIGHT to get out. Love you guys!! Deb

I am going to do my best to try and word this without it coming off wrong and offending so excuse me if I am not successful though with the week I have had I cant promise anything. Deb, I would greatly appreciate it, if before you automatically discount what I have gone through this past week you would wait and find out all the facts. I in fact did not just have a case of the FLU. TRUST me I I would have given my left arm to have had the flu. I had a severe case of samonilla poisoning, bad enough that is sent me into labor, and had my blood work for basically the last week in the critical levels. Mainly cause we had to wait forever for the cultures to come back to find out what the problem was. The GI dr they had in there working with me was amasing since when I talked to MUSC, they basically told me to get a doc there since there wasn't anything they could do over the phone. .. fine whatever. Turns out it had nothing to do with the surgery anyway. Once they found out the issue they got me on the different antibiotics and other drugs that I need, so many pills I swear that I rattle when I walk now, and am slowly back on the mend. They finally let me come home today. As for everything else with this surgery that I think we have all learned over the last year, nothing is the same from person to person. I was in fact given Detrose via an IV and i honestly wouldn't have made it considering that was literally the ONLY nutrients that I was getting, and that was just the short time that they were staying in my system. Everything was going through me so quick for some one that was getting on average 10+ bags of fluids, including saline, potassium, antibiotics, and dextrose, I am retaining zilch in the way of fluids. I am home now and greatful. I am sorry if that came off mean though I just wanted you to know what was really going on before you decide that there was nothing wrong with me.

Hey, I did not mean it to come out wrong either. I was drugged up big time, still am, and I was just mad at the way they are treating you I care for you and was only trying to help, just now when I re-read it, it does sound harsh....I was on MAJOR pain meds, so I am sorry. I was even telling Tommy last night to open the door so the bird could fly out.. !! Okay, I am going to lay back down. I am/have been praying for you. Maybe it is food poisioning, that would suck. I hope you feel better soon!! I love you Kylee, sorry I should have let Tommy type for me, but we were both concerned for you. Love you lots. I also think there is something wrong with you, I did not want to insinuate that you are not sick, quite opposite, I was angry they were not doing more for you. I get defensive when my girls are hurting Love you lots. Even re-reading it now, I swear I don't even remember typing that!! I am just crazy in pain, can't pee or poop, and miserable.
