unfortunate

Thanks for all of your responses and words of encouragement!! Unfortunately, I work in the evenings so I cannot make it to your get-together but maybe I can make it some other time. On a different note, I went to the nutrition class today at MUSC( very helpful) and found out that my surg date is 12/27 (pending ins). Dr Baker will do my surgery and I don't see much feedback here about her. Does anyone know anything? I checked the website and got her info there but it's always good to hear from someone who knows firsthand.:-)

Congratulations on your date! What a wonderful Christmas present! Dr. Morgan was my surgeon. All of the doctors there are top-notch. I can tell you that both Drs. Morgan and Baker both had babies a few months ago. Keep in touch on the board with any questions you might have, and let us know what's up with you. Love, B

Hi, Dr. Baker is great!! I knew nothing about her either and was a little skeptical becuase the whole time I thought Dr. Byrne was doing my surgery and then at the last minute found out it was her but do not fear. She is the best doctor I have ever seen in my life and I have seen a plenty. I had my surgery last Dec. 20. I LOVE DR. BAKER!! I had to go back into the hospital a week after surgery and she was there with me checking on me and talking to me the whole time. I am glad she did my surgery. You will love her. Theresa Z

I know her, and she is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I love her, she is so down to earth and I know she just had a baby. I loved her so much and sat next to her at a function and you would never know she was a doctor, much less a surgeon because she was SOOO sweet and down to earth. Better news is that she is with Dr. Byrne and he won't allow just anyone to train under him and she did as well as at Emory I think. Take care and no worries with any of those 3 docs Deb
