WELL IT'S NOON, SO YOU SHOULD BE IN THE VERY CAPABLE HANDS OF DR BYRNE. WE ARE SO PLEASED FOR YOU & SEND OUR PRAYERS TO COVER YOU. AS SOON AS YOU CAN, LET US KNOW HOW YOU'RE DOING!
WELCOME TO THE HEALTHY, LOSING SIDE OF LIFE, GIRL ... WE'RE KEEPING YOUR SEAT ON THE BENCH WARMED & READY!

I made it home. Everything went well I believe. I had to go for 2 swallow tests because they weren't sure about the first one. The second one I am nervous about because the liquid looked like it went in and didn't stay in it just drained right out. But I'm not the pro right....
I will just have to reconfirm with Dr. Bryne monday morning when I go to get the JP out.
I had a good bit of nasuea while in hospital but I'm ok now that I am home so far. I want to eat and drink but i know i have to do it slowly and dont want to hurt myself or getting any pains only being three days out.
Ok going to lay down for a while. thanks everyone for your support and prayers.
Jennifer
Welcome, welcome, welcome to the healthy side of life, Ms Jennifer! So glad to hear that all is going well for you.
I believe that they are looking for leaks ... The fluids will drain out of the pouch quickly; that's normal. They're looking to see if there is any liquid seeping out of the incisions. If they let you go home, I'm sure you are OK. Doc Byrnes is real cautious.
It's so funny to see how everyone reacts differently to the surgery ... I didn't want to eat or drink for about 3 months.
Keep us posted on your progress!
God bless you ... Dawn & Nick
