i didnt tell i had wls!,did u?

hello all,, i didnt tell anyone but my kids and maybe 2 others,,,,my sister dont know,,,,i guess i didnt want to have to keep explaining what i did,,,,or have them watch me like a hawk to see if i fail,,,anyone else not say anything?,,,,,,now i do tell if i see they really are interested for them selves,,,im not ashamed,,,i would do it again in a min,,,just dont want negative feed back,,,,,,help sandy

I shouted it from the roof tops when I was still pre-op but that is just how I am. Do what makes you happy. I was proud and still am proud of my decision to change me life for the better. I have had only great responses and lots of questions (curious people). Do what you want.... Rachel

I've been very open and candid my entire journey.....WLS and all of my plastics since (7 in total). When people ask me how much weight I've lost and I tell them ~160lbs, they can't believe it. When I'm asked how, I say I lost about half from my gastric bypass and the rest through sheer hard work. Heck, I just had breast augmentation about 2 weeks ago and folks knew beforehand and some were told afterwards. Most people have been very supportive. I get the flack from my family....

my family lives in another state & no I did not tell then like you I did not want any one worried & did not want any neg feed back ,can not wait to see the face when they see me they will be shocked
