Ok, my turn for the photo that changed my life...

Just added a before pic to my profile. Well, I didn't do this surgery until Jan 06 and this was taken Sept 05. I started the process of approval in Sept 05. Had approval by end of Oct 05 but chose to wait until Jan 06 for surgery. Man, look at that booty!!! It was a shelf... Aren't we all glad that we took the step to better our lives. Wow...I can say is WOW!!!! You know what I like the most. When I walk into a room no one looks at me (but not looking at me) with the "there's the fat chick" look in their eyes!!! --Kelly

Kinda on the same type of thing ... We were at a restuarant when we went to Lenoir, NC on a short vacation. Nick & I decided what we wanted to eat & ordered one meal plus a salad. The waiter (a young man) asked what I wanted & I said that I would just have a little of what Nick was having because I didn't eat that much. He looked at me kinda funny. We went on with our meal, chit chatting & I forgot all about my comment to the waiter. When he brought the check, he picked up my plate & said, "OY, you really don't eat a lot, do you?" I think my smile was as wide as the room. I used to be able to eat as much as 2 people, so this was a real victory! People actually do watch one another ... &, like you said, instead of us being the "FAT CHICK", we're now the ones that others are impressed with. It's a great feeling! God bless you ... Dawn & Nick

I look at that picture and think "That's my beautiful friend Kelly -- she's ALWAYS been beautiful because she's such a beautiful person!" which is the absolute truth! But the difference is amazing. Seeing her on Monday after not seeing her most of last week because of Thanksgiving was eye-opening -- she just looks so wonderful, and I'm so proud of her! Lisa
