The photo that changed my life.

I found a photo from last Christmas that I thought I had destroyed. I showed some of the ladies last night at Dr. Bour's meeting. Its posted on my profile. I cried all the way home because I hated the way I looked. I am happy to say, this year it will be different. Kathy

Kathy, you don't even look like the same person !!!!!!!!!!! I have photos that I have thrown away because they look too much like me, and that makes me very sad that I ever let myself get into that shape. I'm down 16 pounds, 4 weeks post op, so maybe one day I won't shy away from the camera. You have done wonderful, I hope I can have the success you've had.

Yay for the 16 pounds!!! You WILL have the same success. Just the fact that you made the decision to change your life with very little support shows that you have the drive and determination. Plus you are beautiful now. Wait till you have the self confidence to match! T-R-O-U-B-L-E !!!! The funny thing is, I still FEEL like the person in the picture even though I know I look different and I can feel the physical differences when I am doing my day to day activities. I wonder if that ever goes away. As far as the camera goes, I am always jumping in front of them now. I can't wait to have my picture made. Kathy

I do hate the pretty face thing!! It didn't help when the boys STILL asked the skinny girls with the ugly faces to dance instead of me!!! Soooo, where is YOUR slinky black dress?? This has been your year too! Kathy
