Hey everyone, just wanted to thank everyone who has responded to my questions. I have decided to have RNY. I am actually a little excited. I am home for the holidays and have been telling my family what I was thinking about doing and am actually getting a good response. The final turning point for me was when my mom-n-law started pulling out size 12 clothes and telling me that I could have them when I got to that size. The thought that I might be able to lose enough weight to get to that point was soooo exciting. My husband is being extremely encouraging and we have decided to wait until he returns from deployment in March before going ahead with the surgery. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I now begin all of the testing to allow the dr to tell me if he will do the surgery. Thanks...M
