DADS A LOSER NOW!!!

i am SOOOOOOO HAPPY to say that dad is a LOSER NOW!!! a ton of pressure is off of me now and i feel like i can breathe!!!! Thank you EVERYONE for all of your prayers and support!!!! Dads surgery took a long time.. and dr. bour said it was one of the hardest bc dad is very "hard" and thick in the stomach, and i was suprised he didnt have to open him up thank God!!!! It was so good to see dad joking , although in discomfort and groggy but he was in good spirits!!! THANK YOU LORD!!! Funniest thing happened, I got a phone call while the nurse was in there with dad, and i ignored it.. well after she left i called it back and it was Lacey at Dr. Bours calling me wanting to know if i would do the informational session tonight LOL I was like "well i can! im right down the road!" And she said "well i just called someone else and got them to do it since i couldnt reach you, but will you do dec.7ths?" i was like SURE LOL.. so now im signed up to "speak".. poor people have to listen to me for however long bless their hearts!!! I went to visit Scott, another large man who had surgery yesterday and boy was he doing good!!! It was good to see someone close to my dads size doing well! We give all the praise to the LORD!!! HE has answered our prayers and i pray that He will continue to bless my father with this special gift of a second life!!!!! THANKS YALL!!! Jen

So glad to hear your dad came through the surgery with no problems. At least he has a wonderful daughter to support him. Maybe we can get him to come to our support meetings. Of course he will have to put up with a bunch of wild women, but I honestly think he will benefit from being around everyone who has been through it. Let him know we are all praying for his quick recovery and that we hope to see him soon. Mary
