Hope there was a good turn-out ! My hubby and I went to the Coastal Carolina Fair Thursday night and saw CDB ....Charlie Daniels Band ! They were fantastic as always. Charlie turned 70 yrs. old October 28th (the day after mine) and he looks great! We rode the ferris wheel and had some of the Fair food...of course. As for me I had roasted peanuts & water while my hubby wolfed down sausage, bell peppers & onions on a bun. I watched everyone eating cotton candy and candied apples, elephant ears, funnel cakes. Yeah they looked good and smelled even better but I thought about how far I've come and how sick I'd be if I took even a bite. I smiled thinking how long it's been since I could walk around the fairgrounds. How long I was in pain due to my weight. How at one time I thought I would die from the pain and the wasting away. I have a brand new life now....another chance ...so I smile alot these days. And I know that most of you know exactly what I'm talking about. Take Care Susan
