just a few more days

I can't believe I am actually going through with the WLS, my cardiologist feels this is a very good option for me. I have had so many comorbities in the past few years, asthma, (having to use steriods) due to fat pushing on my lungs causing me not to expand as good as I could. High Blood Pressure, Lipid profile, out of this world, my body aches all over at times, I can barely move, fat inflitrating my liver, sleep apnea, and it seems the list and the pills go on and on and on and don't forget GERD. I just can't seem to imagine losing this weight and being healthy, God knows I want so bad to get off the majority of this medication and feel better physically. I get so exhausted doing nothing. I go to work, come home and usually take a nap. I'm too young to be staying in the bed that much (just for sleep). I go in the hospital on Saturday - the surgery will be on Monday and hopefully everything will go just great and I'll be out of there within a few more days. On my way to happier healthy Linda -Cool!

Hi Linda, I hear you loud and clear about all the co morbities and feeling tired all the time. I come home from work and just want to sleep because I feel so exhausted. Right now BCBC is still giving me a hard time, its always something else they want from you and its still never enough. Its just about got me crazy and Im so stressed out from it all that Im home from work today with a migrane. I did get a letter from then yesterday just saying they want me to call because they couldnt get a hold of me on the phone. I have no idea what thats all about. Have they ever contacted you by letter? My surgeons office also called me yesterday and said I would be denied if I dont have something from this Year of supervised diets. Its amazing what they got from me so far and now they want 2006 info. What if someone did not do anything for one lousy year? They get denied? With all my health problems and diets and diet meds I have been on my surgeons office said they had been told by BCBS that I fit the critera for the surgery but they still want something I did for this year. Im really at a loss and dont know what to do anymore, I gave them all I can give. I tried calling them this morning but got no answer so I will try again.
