Thoughts 13 months post op
I has just hit me that I had surgery exactly 13 months ago. Wow...things have changed so much in a year. I have ten pounds to go to 158, which is my goal. I"m at Dr. Byrne's goal. I have on a "skinny pair of pants" with a button down shirt. Sometimes I don't feel like me. My gosh, I'm almost pretty again. Its weird to get "that" look from men again. Here's a list of how my life has changes.
1. I have friends again, I don't just hide in the back of the room for everything and hope that no one notices me.
2. I'm finishing college and not afraid to give my opinion in class.
3. I've waiting for a plastic surgery date
4. Food is still tempting, but I can stop. Its okay not to clean my plate
5. I DON"T LIKE BREAD (who would have thought)
6. I play with my children
7. I keep telling my teenager that I'm going to be like the song "Stacy's Mom has got it going on"
8. Life is good again. I'm sorta kinda happy, God is Great
I can't wait to here thoughts from all of you when you are at the same place.

Good thoughts Mary. Next week I will be one year out. I have noticed so many changes in myself too.
1. I am more confident in myself and feel good about myself.
2. I don't like bread either (funny thing...isn't it?)...
3. Food isn't as tempting as it used to be...and I can control my thoughts!
You are right, life is good again!...can't wait until I am ready for plastics....
