CT Scan..

They called like I figured this morning at 8 and said it was scheduled for 3:30 , NPO for 4 hours prior, i was like "im going out of town at 1:30.. i cant make it" and so they agreed and let me change it to monday at 12:30.. thank God. I didnt wanna have to go through that and be that late going on my mini-vacation LOL.. Or to have the worry of the results all weekend.. So I wont know anything else until after monday ! Thanks for all the prayers.. and funny butt jokes.. Jen

Have fun on your mini-vacation and take a pillow to sit on. Just to let you know, even though I joke, I still pray for you. And for goodness sakes, try not to poke anyone with that thing! Kathy

So sorry to hear your having problems with your butt. It's not funny, I know, been there done that, but at least your taking care of it. Hopefully it wont be more than a cyst or something simple that they can fix quickly. Anyway, have a great time on your vacation, and please be careful. Hopefully I will get to see you soon after my surgery, but if there is a reason you can't come, please don't worry about it, you need to take care of yourself first. Mary

Jen, I'm so glad that it worked out that you could go to your conference this weekend which will probably be AWESOME and that you also will be able to get the CT Scan quickly on Monday. Remember, You can have sips of water before hand, but BARIUM will make you dump and so be sure to remind them you are like a diabetic!! Take some crystal lite with you, not the kind you like so much, I took peach tea, 2 of them and mixed it in the cup with the gastro contrast clear cup o crap they give you and it was NASTY! But, with the peach tea, bearable. So, good luck and remember, the dye will make you have the runs for the next 2 days afterwards!! TAKE SALTINES WITH YOU TOO!! After your test start eating them right away to absorb some of the dye. Speaking from too recent experience, and I am praying yours goes very well, and you have no problems!! Love ya!!
