Congratulations. I know exactly how great you feel. I just hit the 100 lb mark today myself but it took me 10 months. You are doing great. I just want to run down the street screaming "I lost 100 lbs" but then if someone asked how and I said I had gastric bypass they would think I didn't work for it when this is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life but it is also the best thing I have done. I am living again!! Keep up the good work!!

Congrats right back to you! That is wonderful Do not worry about the length of time it took to get to that 100 lb mark. I saw someone on the main board that lost 100 lbs in like 3 mths! We are all different, some lose it fast some lose it slow. The point is we lose it and we are healthier for it. I agree about running down the street. I just want to step outside and shouting to the world! I have found people to VERY receptive to the fact that I had WLS. And you are right, it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Taking that leap of faith to put your life back in your hands is hard. Who cares what others think. You know how hard it was, this is not the easy way out. You are still dieting and exercising, just like those millions that do not have WLS. We just needed an extra tool to make it more of a success. You keep up the good work also. I do not think I will ever forget this day. Julie
