Been missing you all!! How the heck is everyone?? I see lots of new names...and some new patients of Dr. Rowitz! YAY! I hope to get back to the Monday night get togethers SOON...I hope we can have one at your house Marcey...closer to me! ;) hee hee I am doing really well! 2 more lbs and I will hit the century club!!! WOOHOO!! Now, I am praying that af doesn't screw it all up this next week. lol Been so busy with work and homeschooling. Anyone doing something fun for Halloween? We are having a big festival at our church. Looking forward to that! I'm mourning my fave Halloween candies this week...I SOOO miss my candy corn!! I could have one or two with no ill effects, but what fun is that?? lol I don't see Tonya Mc or Sherry B around here anywhere...hope everyone is okay! MS CHERYL HAD NECK SURGERY & IS DOING VERY WELL. ALL HER PRE-OP NERVE PAIN & MUSCLE PAIN IS GONE!!!!!!!! DOC IS VERY HAPPY WITH HER PROGRESS SO FAR. THE HOME-BASED BUSINESS IS PUT ON HOLD FOR A BIT ... WE JUST GOT A DIAGNOSIS OF ALZHEIMER'S FOR MY MOTHER SO WE ARE TRYING TO CATCH OUR BREATH RIGHT NOW. WE WEREN'T EXPECTING IT ... JUST THOUGHT THE PROBLEMS WERE FROM THE STROKES. WE CAN'T EVER LEAVE HER ALONE ANY MORE SO I'M HELPING DADDY MORE THAN I WAS. BUT, THERE WILL COME A TIME WHEN WE GET INTO A RHYTHM & THEN WE'LL BE ABLE TO FOCUS PART TIME ON A HOME BUSINESS. NICK & I ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT. I'M DOING VERY WELL, THANKS ... Oh, I'm SO glad to hear Ms. Cheryl is doing so well!! Praise the Lord!! I'm sorry to hear about your mother...your parents are so lucky to have your help! God bless you for being a great daughter. God has a time and place for your business, and I'm sure He will bless it! Congrats on your century mark!! YEAH!! I'm so thrilled for you and how much healthier you are now! What a blessing!! Not much new here. My hubby went back to school this fall after getting laid off. The gov't. is paying for his education, so that is a blessing. He will be in school for 2 years, and we are trusting God that there will be a great job waiting once he has his training! He is going for machine tool technology...a highly sought after position around here. It involves making and designing machine tools. I am just busy teaching my kids and working 30+ hrs a week from home with my freelance work. It's making time FLY by! Such a great update from you...thanks for sharing! Blessings, Elizabeth

Ahh, I looove candy corn. LOL I haven't dumped yet, and it makes me nervous that I CAN eat sugar!! So I limit my intake to about 6 or 7 grams at a time, just in case...I don't want to find out!! I was a serious sugar addict, so I would be really upset if I found out sugar doesn't make me dump. I hope to get to a Monday meeting soon...I want to meet you, and lots of other ladies on here I still have yet to meet!! (((HUGS))) Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth! Good to hear that you are doing so well! Only 2 more pounds until you have lost 100?!?!? WOW!!! That's fantastic!!! I hear ya on the candy corn ... although my big black cloud will hit at Christmas time when I won't be eating my favorite divinity. (It does have some protein though, with the egg whites ... hmmmm.) Is divinity the same as meringue cookies? They have sugar free ones at publix.... Kathy
