Drain is out

I don't think we are talking about the same thing. Mine was a drain that drain fluid off of my stomach. It didn't cause me near the pain that you are talking about with you mom. I am so sorry that your mom had to go through that. Please tell your mom to come on here. It has been my saving grace a million times. Where does she live? Maybe she could find a support group near her? Rachel

its the same drain. I think. this was not the surgical drain which was removed before discharge but a gastric tube which did just that, drained the stomach fluid off. she must have just made more than the average patient!
