I have sugar free candies every once in a while. I dump on sugar...usually, but the tootsie rolls are so tiny and have so little fat and calories each, I gave in and cheated by spacing them apart.
I did get rid of them and after the last one I ended up getting a headache, so I know they will make me sick in numbers. NO MORE TOOTSIE ROLLS OR OTHER REFINED SUGAR PRODUCT FOR ME!
There, now I should be set for the rest of my life...hopefully...

YA KNOW MS KATHY, WE ARE ALL DOING SO FANTASTICALLY ... JUST THINK WHERE WE STARTED FROM ... HOW MANY BAGS (& MORE BAGS) OF HALLOWEEN CANDY WOULD WE HAVE EATEN BEFORE SURGERY? NOW, WE MAY HAVE JUST A COUPLE PIECES DURING THE ENTIRE SEASON NOW, IF ANY.
I KINDA "CHEAT" GOOD ... MY PROTEIN BARS HAVE CHOCOLATE, PEANUT BUTTER & CARAMEL COATINGS ON THEM, SO I KINDA GET MY SWEET TOOTH TAKEN CARE OF IN A GOOD WAY BY THOSE. I'M SUCH A CHOCOHOLIC THAT IF I COULD FIND CHOCOLATE COVERED SHRIMP, I'D EAT IT SAYING IT WAS MY PROTEIN FOR THE DAY!
SO, IT'S RARE THAT I ACTUALLY WANT CANDY OR COOKIES OR DESSERT ANY MORE CUZ I REALLY AM GETTING THAT IN MY PROTEIN BARS. I DUMP SO SEVERLY ON MOST SUGAR & WHITE CARB PRODUCTS THAT IT KEEPS ME FROM EVEN CHANCING IT MOST TIMES, BUT I CAN STILL GET REAL
STUPID OVER A FRENCH FRY!
BUT, WHEN I LOOK AT HOW MUCH I'VE CHANGED MY EATING HABITS SO FAR, WOW, AREN'T WE DOING GREAT MS KATHY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'VE EVEN GOT MY PARENTS ON PROTEIN PRODUCTS, & NICK AS WELL.
WE SHOULD ALL GIVE OURSELVES A PAT ON THE BACK!
