I have found out now that I am on Solids that I can still eat things that I should not... I have eaten some Chex mix, NSA Polar Bear Ice Cream treats, OMW...I am still going to have to watch my P's and Q's!!!! Well, like they say... this is a tool. I am still responsible for what goes in. I hope all is well with everyone and see ya Monday. Pam

Chex mix isn't too bad and the Ice cream treats were NSA. Don't worry about it too much. You still have a very small pouch. I also think that I am going to tolerate a lot of things since I haven't had any problems so far. Rachel

ah, its okay. Think about what you ate before!!! Ice cream treats are okay, but the chex mix is okay at times, not much...but higher in carbs. I like nuts, honey roasted and regular for something munchy. Try to do slim jims, nuts and crunchy things like that. I also have found some yummy treats at Costco, the almond crunch center sliced almond bars....Aunty Nuts You are good!! Take care!! God Bless!! Deb

We all do have to watch our Ps and Qs-forever. It's truly a myth about this being the easy way out. We're on a diet for the rest of our lives and have to make good choices every time we eat. Some times are harder than others. When you slip, don't be too hard on yourself, just do better next time. You've got it right about the tool. Keep your eyes on the prize. You're going to do just fine! Love, B

Watch out for the NSA icecreams! Whenever I eat them, I get so "stinky" my family wants to boot me out of the house! And the chex mix, uh oh. It won't kill you but it might slow your weight loss down. You want to lose as much as you can these first few months. I knew I was in trouble as soon as I had my first bit of pasta. I avoid it most of the time. It caused me NO problems whatsoever!! This whole process is trail and error. Even though we all have guidelines, we all end up tailoring our diets to our individual needs and wants. Find a substitue for the chex mix if you really want it, or only have it once in a while. A tiny bit, and don't beat yourself up over it. That causes me extreme guilt which leads to emotional overeating, which leads to guilt, which leads to more eating...or worse, puking. This is NOT easy. Thats for sure! Kathy
