usually how long after consult is sugery? also i am self pay ,are there any discounts?

Hi Ted, Depends where you go and who is your surgeon. If you go to MUSC, and request Dr. Byrne, can be weeks to months. If you go to one of the other surgeons at MUSC, then perhaps days. He is the most requested. Not sure about any other doc. Sorry you are self pay. I know that they did just instate a self pay discount that includes everything, but cannot remember how much...I wanna say $16k?? But not sure. Email Amanda Budak, his program manager and ask her, she is great!! [email protected] Dr. Byrne is one of the top 4 bariatric surgeons in the country, and top 1 in the southeast.
