Help Im so upset!

Well, I just got a call from Dr Bo's office and the girl there told me she just heard from insurance co. They want the last 2 yrs of medically supervised diets and all diet medications Ive been on. I gave them over 6 yrs of my medical records of all diet and diet medications I was on, I dont have anything for the last 2 yrs since I moved last year and just got a new pcp so dont have anything else to give them from the last 2yrs and Im so upset right now I dont know what to do. My good friend Janet told me to hang in there and think positive and thats what Im trying to do. If anyone has any advice on this please let me know. Ive gone through all my tests and just have the seminar on the 19. I was told they dont send in anything to the insurance till everything is done and you have finish with the seminar. The girl there was pretty nasty to me because I asked her why she sent in anything when I still had to get my results from the stress test ? She said the insurance co. doesnt need them and she only sends in what they require. Im really bummed out about this and not sure what to do next. Im going to talk to the cardioligst today and see what he thinks. Please pray that all goes well. Thanks everyone for all your support and help! Everyone on OH has been great! Denise

I am sorry you are going throught that, but your friend is right, HANG IN THERE! So if I read the post right you have not been on a supervised diet for the past 2 years, right? If this is wrong, why don't you call your old PCP and get those records or where they included in the 6 yrs of past medical history? How about writing a letter or having your present PCP write a letter explaining that you have moved and had to switch Doctors' so there is no records for the past 2 yrs? Just a thought. Thanks so much Julie for your concern, Everything I sent was in my 6yrs of medical records and I made copies for the surgeron and anyone else who needed them. I might have to get back to my pcp that I had for like 7 yrs before I moved. She already wrote a letter telling them the diets and diest meds that she had me on over all those years. Thats why I dont understand why they now want the last 2 yrs. Which of course I dont have. I did go to weigh****chers last year for a few months ,and when I called them they said they could not help me because they dont keep any records after 4 weeks of you not going anymore. Im just so frustrated and wanting so much to have this surgery. The girl in the office is not very nice at all and I heard she gives other people a hard time also. Well today Im going to see the cardiologist for the results of my stress test and my friend told me that I should ask him for a letter of recommendation so that might help.
