1 week visit

I had my 1 week post op visit with Dr. Bour (well, I guess I should say Katie since I didn't see Dr.Bour). I had lost 15lbs since surgery. That puts my total weight loss at 22lbs. I was excited but sorta unemotional about it all. I thought that was strange. My mom couldn't understand why I wasn't jumping for joy about it. I guess it is just the estrogen being released...a whole 15 lbs of estrogen since last Tuesday. My poor hubby!! Rachel

Rachel~ WOW that is fabuous!!!!!! Your hormones will adjust and then screw up again and adjust and screw up again. Oh sorry! I am describing my life right now!!!!! I think we go through the emotional/ hormonal roller coaster for some time. I think when we hit goal and settle down then everything will settle down. 15 pounds....that is so exciting!!!!!! How are full liquids? I drank tons of cream soups during that stage. Keep it up doll, it gets easier from here!!!!!! Melissa

Hey Rachel.... great news. I hear ya on the estrogen! I hope you are doing better. I know you were having a hard time with the protein and all that. I am still not getting in all of mine. I get in about 60 a day. I really need to beef it up. Can't wait to see ya. HOpe to see ya Monday night. Pam

WTG Rachel! 15 pounds in one week is fantastic. Dang they would have to cut one of my arms off to get 15 pounds off in one week, lol. I sure hope the protein thing is getting better for you and that you enjoy the full liquids a lot better. Keep up the great work and I hope I get to see you soon. I have to work Monday, so I am going to try to get off in time to come to the meeting. I missed the last one and need to get on the ball here since I'm getting closer and closer to my day.
