How long after consult did you check Insurance Manager and the author. was there?

I had my consult with Dr. Morgan on Thursday, Oct. 5, now it's Tuesday and I keep checking my Insurance Manager and nothing yet....how long, I know I'm being over anxious but I have to be, with this being the last year for my insurance to cover this procedure. thanks Linda

It's a little early yet. Did you confirm with the doctor's office that they have submitted the request? It should be within a couple days of them actually receiving it. I'm addicted to myInsuranceManager.com as well and check it every day (several times a day!) while waiting on an authorization that I'm anxious to hear about.

I want to say it was a couple of weeks before the information starting showing up on the Insurance Manager. But is have concerns call MUSC and see where everything is at. They are very understanding that WLS patients are nervous and anxious. Good Luck Julie
