NSA Fudgesicles are EVIL!

This is long, but who else can I share it with? Ok, many of you know I have a problem with a fudgesicle addiction. I can't seem to get enough and I am able to eat alot of them...or so I thought. On Saturday, my hubby's company had a family day with a carnival picnic and everything. I was really feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't have any cotton candy. Cotton candy is - WAS -one of my most favorite things in the whole world. I was actually ANGRY and pouting that I couldn't have any. So, when I was grocery shopping the next day, I decided to let the once banned NSA fudgesicles back into my house. I went home and procedeeded to eat one. Then a little later, another...then it was like I was possesed. I kept going back for more. So good and creamy and easy to get down. Then it hit me...stomach cramps and extreme nausea. The kind that make you wish you were dead. I wanted to pass out! I didn't know which end to hold over the toilet. I wanted to scream for a doctor...or a priest! Someone needed to exorcise those demon fudgesicles from my body! Anyway, it ended well. I feel better today, though I feel like I have done 100 crunches AND I don't think I'll need to poo for at least another week... Needless to say, fudgesicles are once more on my "persona non grata" list. Stay away from them. Kathy

Hey Kathy, So sorry to hear you had to go through that YUK. Well I hope your feeling better now. I get nervous hearing things like that because I sure dont want to ever get sick like that. Im a nervous wreck thinking about this surgery but know I have to get it. I just hope I dont chicken out when it gets close LOL!! Im still doing the waiting game and its so frustrating! You shouldn't be nervous, I got sick because I BROKE THE RULES. This is the first time in 6 months that I have gotten sick like that. As long as you do what you are supposed to, you will be fine. I knew it was bad, but I did it anyway and boy did I pay for it. Thats the purpose of this surgery. Just think though, before surgery I would have been "on a diet" and still would have eaten twice my weight in cotton candy, funnel cakes, ice cream, cookies and hamburgers at that carnival. I do not even want to imagine what 242 pounds of cotton candy looks like...

OK...So maybe my conversation with you on Saturday was you were sitting in your car at the carnival rubbed off on you!! Or better yet, my myspace picture that I sent to your page!! LOL!! Oh well, glad you are feeling better. Stay away from those demons!! ONly 3 more days until FULL LIQUIDS...I can't wait!! Rachel

kathy, That just sucks when things that were good, get "too good". I used to eat 2 scoops of vanilla NSA, Carb Benefit ice cream, Edy's, Dryers and add a little bit of Dr. Pepper Vanilla Cherry to it, like a float...all summer that was MY favorite treat, and now I had a little bit of ice cream a few weeks back, and no longer can I eat it!! I got sooooooo sick, and I am 13 months post op!!! At least I still dump, but that was my one treat....lactose is evil!! I dumped tonight too, and when I dump I pass out, like sleep for hours, and now I am awake!! Still feel like crap though. Sorry you went through that. I had never bought those, but thought about it several times. Deb
