BUT, THINGS ARE PROGRESSING SO THAT IS ENCOURAGING NEWS. HAD GREAT NEWS TODAY WHEN I STEPPED ON THE SCALE ... I'VE FINALLY LOST 100 #s ... ACTUALLY 100.4 #s ARE GONE FOR GOOD ... I TOOK A PIC OF MY SCALE LIKE MS BECKY DID & DIDN'T EVEN HAVE MY TOENAILS PAINTED ... I DIDN'T CARE, JUST WANTED TO SEE THAT SCALE NUMBER!!!!!! 279.80 - 179.40 = 100.4 # LOSS! I HIT THE "CENTURY MARK" !!!!!!!!!! FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY, BUT AT LEAST I DID GET THERE ! NEXT GOAL ... WHEN I AM LIGHTER THAN 172, THEN I'LL BE LIGHTER THAN I'VE BEEN IN 2 DECADES! THEN, ON TO DR BYRNE'S GOAL WEIGHT OF 140 (I'D HAVE LOST HALF MY HIGH BODY WEIGHT ... 140 LOST & WEIGHT 140 ... HOLY MOLY) ... THEN, I'M GONNA TRY TO GET BETWEEN MY "IDEAL WEIGHT" OF 126 & DOC'S "GOAL WEIGHT" OF 140 ... I MAY BE THE "TURTLE" BUT I'M STILL CHUGGIN' ALONG LADIES & GENTS! Hi Dawn!!! I am sooo glad your mom is doing better I am also sooo happy to hear of your 100lbs!!!!!!!!!! WOOO HOOO!!!!! So, I finally got my scale to move too...I had been stuck at 154 for the longest time, and yesterday it went to 153, and then today it was 152.5!!! Okay, so can we not speak about necks?? My neck has been sooo bad since July, I think from hotel rooms, but now its awful, and I can't find a chiropractor to help me. I went to one guy, but he was a real QUACK!!! I miss my guy in Charleston, he was the best!!! So, I don't want to take celebrex, which can help, because of my liver, so I am at my wits end trying to figure out the whole neck thing. Please tell Cheryl I will be praying for her to be healed!! Hang in there Dawn, and congrats on your loss!! It will happen, a little slower now though, like me Miss you bunches!! Deb

MERCY ME DAWN, WHAT AND ACCOMPLISMENT. CONDRATULATIONS DOES IT REALLY MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES AS LONG AS YOU TAKE IT OFF? WEIGHT THAT IS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND HOPE YOUR MOHTER CON'T TO IMPROVE. WE BOTH KNOW HOW HARD IT IS ON OUR HEARTS TO SEE OUR PARENT(S) SICK. WE KNOW IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN SOMETIME BUT ARE NEVER READY WHEN IT DOES. MOM HAS BEEN HAVING A TIME OF IT GOING BACK AND FORTH. HAD THE BRONCOSCOPY LAST FRI, SAW THE PULMONOLOGIST YESTERDAY, SAW THE RADIOLOGY ONCOLOGIST TODAY, GOES TO HAVE A PET SCAN ON MONDAY THEN ON FRI. THE 13th, THE DAY OF MY SURGERY SHE HAS TO GET AN MRI OF HER HEAD DUE TO THE LUNG CANCER IN THE MORNING THEN RETURN TO THE RADIOLOGY ONCOL IN THE AFTERNOON. IT'S EXHAUSTING FOR HER, ESPECIALLY SINCE SHE GETS SHORT OF BREATH SO QUICKLY. I HATE SEEING HER LIKE THAT AS I'M SURE YOU HATE SEEING YOUR MOHTER GOING THROUGH HER TRAILS. OT Donna, Just wanted to let you know I have been praying for your mom. Did they diagnose her as having Lung Cancer?? I am sooo sorry you are going through this at the same time as your recovery. God Bless, and don't let yourself get dehydrated or low on protein! Love you, Deb

Deb, they saw a questionable mass oR lesion on a ct. When the pulmonologist did the brobcoscopy he saw a tumor. He took samplings of the tumor and what they call washing of the surrounding fluid. The tumor came back as squamous cell carcinoma (cancer) but the surrounding fluid was negative. When we went back to the pulmonologist he was very encouraging about radiation therapy. The radiology oncologist was very discouraging. So mom is very down right now, very anxious. I've tried to give her a zanax but she won't take it. I think I'm going to speak to her pcp and she if he'll order some lexapro or another antidepressant for her. Thanks for keeping her in your prayers and I hope you will con't to pray for her. I whis you were back in s.C. I feel like I personally know both you and dawn. Donna
