Looks like you would be an hour away from Charleston. There are lots of ladies here that had their surgeries there and it seems like there is an excellent program there. Maybe one of them can tell you about their support groups. There are alos nuerous doctors all around SC in Columbia, Anderson , Greenville and Spartanburg to name a few. I'm in Greenville, which means you are too far away from me - 4 hours. Kathy

If he is being stationed in Georgetown. I would recommend if possible that you come up to Georgetown and look around. http://www.city-data.com/city/Georgetown-South-Carolina.html http://georgetowncountychamber.com/ There are communities around Georgetown that are beutiful as well. Contact the base and see if they have a welcome aboard package with housing information. I am sure there are people in this group from Georgetown. MUSC does WLS. It is a center of excellence faciltiy. It is in Charleston and is about 1 hour away from Georgetown.
