Back From Mexico!!! Olay!! (long)

So, I went to Mexico today, it was a very quick drive, not bad at all. I drove down and parked at the last exit parking lot and waited for the driver to show up who takes people to and from the surgeon's office. You can see the border/Tijuana from the parking lot. Then he showed up, and could barely speak a lick of English and I cannot habla Espanol' so it was interesting, but he knew where to take the Seniora. So, he, Romerio, dropped me off right at the entrance, then I had to go in and figure it out myself...took me a few minutes of walking around and deciphering Spanish to figure out it was on the 3rd floor next to the Cardiologist office. So, got up there, and walked in and the office is beautiful, granite, artwork, marble floors, and everyone was so nice and helpful. The doctor called me back, and I filled out paperwork, and based on that he asked me questions about what I was wanting. He told me to get the LBL first, and showed me exactly how much skin he can take off, about 3" on the front and 6" on the sides, and about 8" on the back side. YIKES!!!! He said it would be about 4lbs of skin, which is a lot! He did say he had to re-do my tummy tuck since it was a mini tuck before, he had to go back in and re-do it and tighten up everything. He then said he recommended silicone breast implants and lift and when I get my boobs done, I can then get my arms done too, and he DID recommend an arm lift where the other docs said only lipo. He showed me what I would look like if I did not get the lift and only got the lipo, it would look funny, like 1/2 a flag waving. He also told me that the reason I "wanted my eyes done" was because my right eye was lower than my left, which I had always known that, but it was because I had excess skin on my forehead, which weighs it down, so he can do the boobs, forehead lift and arms all at one time. Hmmm, forehead lift, who woulda thought it? I did get a few injections of Botox in my forehead which helped my eye go up a little and I asked him why my neck looked so funny with a "hole" in it, and he said it was the loss of fat over the vocal cords, muscles and that a couple of shots of Botox there would take that right away, so OKAY, he shot up my neck a little bit and smooth it was!! None of the botox shots hurt at all, and everytime he kept saying, "I am sorry for this stick" or "here comes an injection...sorry it might hurt". This was the first time out of 3x total of having Botox, that it did not hurt at all. So,he also showed me my thighs, and where the incisions go, and he said no way to get the thigh lift done the same time the boobs or even the lower body lift are done, because it would be too uncomfortable to try to figure out where to lay to be comfortable. So, 3 surgeries total, and then my full body makeover will be done!! I hope to break this into 3-5 months segments and be done by Summer, well, next August, which is like a year. So, I love, love Dr. Fuentes, he is awesome!! I have my surgery scheduled for December 13th!! That is the last day of the month for surgeries and he said one day in their hospital/clinic...which is certified to the USA standards, with an RN with me. There were 2 American RN's working there, or else they looked and sounded like Americans. SO, I have to start bumping up my protein to 100gms per day and after surgery too. I will stay in TJ for 1 night before and then 1 night in the clinic overnight, and then 1-3 nights in the hospital. I am sooo ready to be done with all of this and to be finished! I need to learn Espanol, and brush up some...I kept going back to my German today...funny how the last country you are in is what your mind thinks of!! sounds like you had a wonderful experience. I am really excited to see what your results are going to look like. I have already been talking this guy up to Jerimy in hopes that once it's my turn he won't have an issue with it. Granted I have more than a year before I think iw ould even be ready for my plastics Though I have to admit that the Botox is sounding awefully tempting lately. How much did he charge you for that? He sounds really nice! I look forward to seeing how great you look afterwards, though onestly you look soo amasing already it's hard to see how much they could possibly improve on you. Ok, I asked Dr. Bour and of course no don't go there, so I am relying on all info from you. What kind of cost was involved with 3 surgerys and ho how much down time for each surgery. I would be flying in from SC . Thanks for all the info!! Patti

DEB, SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE IN MEXICO. I CAN'T IMAGINE ANTICIPATING 3 SURGERIES AT THIS POINT AS IM NOT EVEN POST-OP YET. WHEN I LOOK AT YOUR PHOTOS IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE YOU NEED ANY PLASTICS. I WILL HOW EVER SAY GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS W/ THIS NEW UNDERTAKING. IF YOU CAN DO THE GBS YOU CAN DO THIS. I'M GETTING SO NERVOUS, THE DATE OF SURGERY IS GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER, 10/13. I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU, I RECEIVED MY VISTA VITAMINS TODAY AND THINK I'M HAVING BRAIN FARTS. ACCORDING TO INFORMATION IN MUSC'S BOOKLET WE SHOULD BE TAKING 1200 - 1500mg OF CALCIUM, 500mcg OF B12 AND 325mg OF IRON. **** BUT **** THE VISTA VITAMIN INFORMATION STATES EACH PACKAGE, 4 CAPSULES CONTAIN 120mcg OF B12, 150mg OF CALCIUM AND 4mg OF IRON. SO HERE'S MY QUESTION: DO WE ONLY NEED ONE PACKET IN THE AM AND ONE IN THE PM AS STATED ON THE BOX OR DO WE NEED TO TAKE MORE? I'M SO CONFUSED. pppppllllleeeeaaaasssseeee hhheeelllppp THANKS, DONNA
