Thank you so much for your sweet thoughts, Ms Kathy ... Yes ma'am, it seems to have turned out as well as we could have hoped for. Low electrolytes & especially low potassium which caused irratic blood pressure & heart rates. But, this is easily fixable with a supplement, some bananas, & a little more focus on hydration. Dawn, I just read about your mom. I'm so sorry you had such a stressful time of it on 10/1. I didn't get on the computer yesterday. I'm just glad and praise God that it wasn't to serious and something that could be taken care of. I HOPE SHE IS FEELING MUCH BETTER NOW AND IS HOME AND RELAXING IN THE COMFORT, LOVE AND SUPPORT OF HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS. It's always so scarey (spelt right ?) when a person we love and care about gets sick, AS WE BOTH WELL KNOW. I will keep her, your father, you and your husband in my prayers. THANK YOU SO MUCH MS DONNA ... YES MA'AM, WE HAD THE ABSOLUTE BEST NEWS WHEN THE TESTS CAME BACK THAT HER HEART WAS IN GOOD CONDITION & IT APPEARS THAT IT WAS JUST AN ELECTROLYTE/POTASSIUM IMBALANCE. IT WAS FUNNY BECAUSE OF ALL THE PROBLEMS SHE'S HAD LATELY, NICK & I WERE REALLY BRACING FOR R-E-A-L-L-Y BAD NEWS. WHEN WE HEARD WHAT THEY THINK CAUSED HER HEART INCIDENT, I DARN-NEAR PASSED OUT FROM RELIEF. CAN'T YOU JUST SEE THEM HAVING TO TRANSPORT ME TO THE HOSPITAL WITH A SPLIT HEAD CUZ I PASSED OUT FROM GOOD NEWS???? THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYERS ... WE LIVE ON THE PRAYERS OF OUR FRIENDS! Dawn, this May sound strange but we also got some halfway good news today also. If you remember mom had a biopsy on fri. And a lung tumor. We got the results today. It is cancer but it's a squamous cell cancer. Her pulmonologist said that if you're going to have cancer this is the type to have. Apparently it responds very well to radiology oncology, so we have an appointment w/ that Dr. This fri. So not so good news (cancer) but good news (how it should respond). Talk about stomach jumping into the throat , good thing I was sitting down and in a dr's office. I feel like we're in the same boat w/ our parents.
