More then anything (other than my sweet hubby's support), seeing WLS friends on a weekly basis has kept me motivated through thick & thin ... Posting here is a great help - seeing everyone's progress & sharing support ... & journaling on my profile page has suprisingly been a help as well. I'm updating now & am reading everything I've written & just reading about my own journey has helped me when things get tough. Stay connected to others on this journey & it will make everything so much easier & so much more joyful!

I THINK YOU WERE THE ONE WHO ASKED ME HOW MUCH PROTEIN YOU NEED TO STAY HEALTHY ... HERE IS THE EQUATION ...
Divide your IDEAL WEIGHT (realistic weight) by 2.2 to convert pounds to kilos and then multiply this number by 1.25 grams per kilo.
MY IDEAL WEIGHT IS 126 / 2.2 = 57.2727... x 1.25 = 71.59 GRAMS OF PROTEIN A DAY FOR ME PERSONALLY.
