Plastic Surgery Consult

Well Hello everyone!! I went for my plastic surgery consult this morning with Dr. Widenhouse. I was very impressed after he came in to speak with me. He spent about 30-35 minutes just talking with me, taking a history, discussing past surgeries and finally the complications of this surgery and even better the expectations!! After that I got undressed and he examined me. When he showed me the amount of skin that he will be able to remove, I was estastic!! His nurse took pictures and they will submit to the insurance company this week. I also have to have a vaginal hysterectomy on December 20, so he will try to arrange with My ob-gyn doc. Perhaps I will be able to have both surgeries on the same day!! Wouldn't that be wonderful!!!!! Say a prayer for me as we wait for the insurance approval, meanwhile I am still working towards 160!!! That is just fabulous news. I am soo jealous I cannot wait till it's my turn. I can't wait to see the new, post plastics you. YOu are going to look amasing.. not that you don't already look completely fabulous.. cause you do!

hey Towana! That is great!! Was that for just a tummy tuck? I hope Tricare will pay for it!! I am sure they will, he is the one they refer to all the time. I am goin on the 11th of October for my "formal" consultation, and to set the surgery date for December I had a vaginal hysterectomy too, and it was a VERY easy surgery, just hated the stupid tube they put in your bladder, but we had that too after gastric, so no biggie. CONGRATS!! Deb MISS YA!!!

Hey Deb!! I miss you too!! This consult was for the Pannilectomy (SP)....MUSC options should cover this as I have developed the infamous "rash" that WORE me out this weekend!!!! I have heard the vaginal hysterectomy was very easy as well- I just can't wait to have all of this "women stuff" over!!! Keep me posted on your consultation!!! Hugs- Towana
