Ok, I need to get exercising again, but my desire to have an active social life is getting in the way.
Does anyone in Greenville (or the surrounding area) know of a track or something where we could all meet to walk in the evenings? An open high school track or field would be ideal because we could bring our kids and let them run around in the middle while we walked and socialized.
We can just have fixed days where we would plan on meeting, but if you didn't show up it wouldn't be a big deal. I would walk alone anyway - as long as I felt safe.
Plus it would be great to get Teagan actively playing with other kids in place where they had the freedom to run, but where we could still keep an eye on them.
What do you guys think? The Monday night thing is great, but I don't know how much longer the family is going to let me get away with staying out so late anymore.

I don't want our support group to fall apart either and I don't mean for this to be instead of the support group, I thought this is something we could do in ADDITION to the Monday night support group.
I just don't think I personally can go every Monday night anymore, but I still need the weekly support of you guys. If I could tie it in with exercise and keeping Teagan entertained kind of like "play dates" it may be easier for me. When we go out and I bring Teagan it is really hard for me to get the full benefit of the meeting. I spend all my time making sure she is happy and out of trouble. Unfortunately, my husband has become very busy at work and has been spending the evenings working from home. It really isn't fair for me to expect him to have Teagan all the time.
and I NEED TO EXERCISE. My lazy butt has not exercised in FOREVER and I am down to 1 or 2 pounds a week.
If there were only more hours in the day!!

If you go up Woodruff Rd from Dr Bours office, take a left at the bp station go straight till you get to Golden Strip Career Center and take a left. On down there is Mauldin Middle School and they have a track at the road and an open field for the kids and even tennis courts.
I would walk with you!

I know where that is at. Lets try to arrange a time to meet.
Is it a fenced in track?
