Okay, Backing up to last week....Lady D's post about...ummmm, you know, bathroom problems.... I had a partial/intermittent intestinal blockage and bought some Sunsweet-Orange flavored prunes, yes prunes!! But they taste SOOO GOOD!! YUM YUM, its like candy, so I get a treat and a help with a terribly embarassing problem that hurts like heck!!! I thought I had kidney stones again, but it was the intestinal blockage/severe constipation. I found out it is more common in people who are past 1 yr or longer, due to hernias, adhesions, scar tissue from the surgery. SO DRINK UP TAKE Milk of Magnesia Eat 3-4 Sunsweet Prunes Everyday....you won't dump...but if you do, well...added bene! The orange flavored ones are awesome! I never thought I would eat prunes in my entire life, but I do now! oh, and you will lose some weight Thanks Dawn!! Deb

Deb, Thanks for the advise. I have always had constipation issues prior to surgery...but since surgery it has been unbelievable!!! Today I was actually crying sitting on the toilet for 1 hour!!! I have started Milk of Magnesia and I 've read that it's okay to take benefiber...but I will try the prunes....I don't know if I dump but it's worth a try, I'm scared that I will prolapse with straining (TMI...sorry) Lesley
