it has been forever!!!!

I fell like I have lost all of my contacts!! I know I don't know any of you well but, I have missed you all! I am not working right now so I do not have a computer. I just wanted to know what everyone was up to and tell you what has been going on with me. My husband was told that after 15 years at him job that he will be laid off as of October 6th. I was so upset, I only had 1 more class to go to for the nutritionist. So, I called Dr. *****ett's office and told them of my situation and guess what? They brought me in for my consultation and moved my class up by a week. I started the atkins diet (their procedure) and got a tentitive surgery date for September 25. My paperwork was sent into Aetna on Friday and I have a pre-op visit on Wednedsay the 20th!!! I am so excited!!! Please, I ask everyone to please pray for me. I want this so badly!! Aetna is stinking awesome!!! And that is fabulous that you Dr. is working with you so well!!!!! My only advice is to call Aetna Monday morning to see if the paperwork arrived. This was the point that the lady put me in the system to be reviewed by the nurse and I was approved in hours!!! I pray that your doctor has your paperwork correctly submitted. My doctor's office had everything in order so it didn't cause an automatic denial. Good luck and keep me posted. Rachel

Hey! Thanks for the encouragement! Did you provide (or have to provide) a five year history of obesity? Just curious....the medical records I have go back to 1999 but I don't think I have had a BMI of 40 or above every year since then. It has been AT LEAST the last 3 years! Well, good luck Rachel!!
