Update on Barbara - Pacemaker not WLS related
Hi Guys
Much to my surprise, I'm the owner of a pacemaker as of a few days ago! I have been having problems with low blood pressure and dizziness and have passed out several times over the last 5 months or so. I was finally scheduled for a Tilt Table Test last week. During the test, my heart stopped for 17 seconds. Yikes!! They kept me in the hospital and put the pacemaker in right away, which was fine with me. I came home the next day and have been resting and puttering around. I was diagnosed with neurocardiogenic syncope, which the doctor said was caused by a virus I caught at the time I started having symptoms. It's not genetic or brought on by WLS or anything I've done or not done - just the roll of the dice. Hopefully, the pacemaker will keep my heart beating normally and I'll be better than new. I won't be able to drive for quite awhile, but that will give me a chance to get my house straightened out and to work on my art, and that's what I've really been wanting. God works in mysterious ways.
I hope to be there Thursday, if I'm not too tired. I have 2 Dr. appts. that day. It sounds like everybody is doing so great! Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers. I miss you all. My heart goes out to you, Cheryl. I have suffered from tremendous pain in my head, neck, and shoulders for many years. I sure hope the doctors will be able to help you.
Love you all, B

Whew! I am glad you got through that!
Take care of yourself and have fun working on your art! We don't like it when any of our ladies gets sick - WLS related or not!

You're an ANGEL!!
Love you lots!!

After all you have suffered through, we sure hope & pray that this is "the" thing that puts you on the road to good health once & for all, Ms Barbara.
Ohhh myyy do I know what you mean about wanting to get my house straightened up & get to do some "fun" things that I haven't felt like doing for so long. Now that I'm tolerating the HRT (hormones) better, I'm getting energy like never before, so here's hoping for both of us!!!!!!!
I forwarded your sweet thoughts to Ms Cheryl; I know she will appreciate them.
We sure hope y'all can come Thursday; we really do miss both of you!
God bless you & Mr Cecil ... Dawn & Nick
