Need prayers!

Thanks to dial up here at Spartanburg Regional(i thought they advertise Wireless? It doesnt work ugh).. I can let everyone know that we are in the hosp with kassidy our 14 month old.. She has a stomach virus she got, and it got worse and worse, until she became dehydrated and couldnt keep anything down. I took her to the dr. today and they sent us over here to get her hydrated and make sure her kidneys are working okay since she has the kidney reflux. After trying to get an IV in her for an hour, the finally called the IV team and they got it in on her FOOT.. so now she cant walk or get down and play or anything! ugh. . they did a cath on her for her urine and we are waiting for the results on all of that. If she is doing better in 24 hours we can go home, but if not then we gotta stay ugh. I hate it here already. Kassidy is so hating it, and cant have anything by mouth for 6 hours, we have an hour an half left of that.. and if she gets sick(throws up) we have to start over on the 6 hour thing. Its torture for her! Pray for her and my sanity and her quick healing!!! Jen p.s.. I obviously wont make it to the meeting tomorrow night! lol.. hate to miss but my babies come first Love yall.. miss ya!!!!

(((((((JENNIFER))))))) MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE LIFTING UP TO OUR LORD AND SAYVIOR FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY FOR BABY KASSIDY. WHY CAN'T SHE WALK AROUND W/ THE IV? AS A NEONATAL NURSE I'VE BEEN ASKED MANY TIMES TO START A PEDIATRIC IV. MANY TIMES GETTING THEM IN THE FOOT. IF THE STICK Is IN THE TOP OF HER FOOT THEY CAN WRAP IT SECURELY SO SHE CAN MOVE AROUND IN HER HOSP. BED. HOPE YOU AND KASSIDY ARE HOME SOON. LOTS OF PRAYERS AND LUCK. DONNA

I'm so sorry to hear your baby is sick. I hope she gets better soon and gets out of the hospital. It's terrible when your baby is sick and especially bad when you not really sure what is wrong. Keep us informed on how she is doing and know that our prayers are with you. Mary

I really hope she is feeling better today! I hate it when babies get sick. You feel so helpless and they just look to you to take care of them. We'll miss you today, but we definitely understand. Kathy

I sure hope she gets better soon, and I know it just wears you out staying at the hospitaland she is so young to understand why you have to stay. I'll be sure to keep you in my prayers too. Judy
