UPDATE ON MS CHERYL

I hope she feels better soon!!! Not to dim the appointment, but I had that in my lower back and they gave me the steroid injections and ya know the rest....I gained a ton of weight and had gastric bypass. I wish she could find a good chiropractor who she could try first before going that route...I am only speaking from a terrible experience from which I almost died from. Will Youngblood is the Chiro I used in Charleston, wonderful, and not an invasive doc...my neck has been stiff again, same problems and I found a chiro here who has really helped me a lot, no more steroid injections for me!! I would rather lose my arm than get those done again!!! Take care and hopefully she is doing okay and with the baby too. I will definitely be praying for God to heal her and to strengthen her neck. I imagine all the late night feedings, just sometimes moving normally can put strain on the neck and cause it to hurt. God Bless her!!! Deb

She asked about weight gain & then when we got to the nurse, I also asked. They swear that there is such a small amount of steroid & that it is localized that she shouldn't have any weight gain. At this point, she'd take the pain if it meant gaining the weight back. I loved it when I was using a Chiro & it really helped straighten my spine & hips, but one of her doctors manipulated her neck & she darn-near passed out ... From that point on, the pain has been at 15 on a scale of 1-10, so that was a bust. She has a bulging disc so the Chiropractor would have to really, really, really be good if she could even stand the pain at this point. They also don't know what is in her esophogous, so manipulation at this time may be premature. God bless you ... Dawn & Nick

Thanks for the update Dawn. I will continue to keep Cheryl in my prayers. We have played "phone tag" the past couple of days, but I will leave her alone for awhile and let her heal now that I know her status.
