I am sorry you are having such a hard time I ate, and still do eat saltines...they really help me when I am sick to my stomach...I always eat them with vitamins. I should have bought stock as I can go through a box in about 2 weeks. Don't worry about carbs right now, only when you get to be like me, one year out Take care, and try propel, it has vitamins and is better for you. Popsicles and saltines...stay away from soups, they seemed to upset my tummy more. Cheese also is not good. Try just saltines, and if you can get it, phenergan will help you a lot!! An IV would not be a bad idea, would decrease the nausea too. Rest and don't worry about the carbs, okay? Deb (((HUGS)))

Oh Stephie... I am so very sorry to learn you have been feeling so bad! Has your Dr. done any kind of testing (endoscopy, CT scan, Upper GI) to see what's going on inside (stricture, leak, etc.)? Are you on antibiotics for the incision infection? Sometimes antibiotics can cause nausea and intestinal upset. I am really feeling for you ... you know I've been there, and not too long ago. I hope Dr. Ross can figure out what's going on SOON, and have you feeling better. My only advice is this: Let Dr. Ross know EVERY DAY that you are feeling nausea, and not able to keep anything down. This is serious, and needs to be addressed and fixed! You are in my thoughts, and I wish you better health ASAP. Dawn
