update on OB drama
Ok well as most of you know I have been having serious issues getting into a new OB since the one at Navy Hospital decided to be a complete ass. After multiple phoe calls and multiple referrals I finally got down to it with them, seems that all the refferals that my PCM was writing for me to get me out to another Dr were being roadblocked by the Dr at Naval Hospital. Their reasoning was that if "they" felt that I needed to go elsewhere they would send me else where and till then I am stuck with them. So my only choice was to change to standard. So that is exactly what I did this morning. I am officially standard and as soon as I finish posting this I am going to start looking for a new OB!!! Finally going to get to go to a dr that isn't going to blow off all my concerns and make me think I am going nuts.
Anyway I just though I would update ya. hope everyone's 4th was great.
The Ob visits will be covered 100% by standard. I just get more of a selection as to who I want to see as long as they are in network and I have to say anything at this point is better than that jerk. And can you believe the nurse at Naval Hospital pretty much agreed that his bedside manner was horrible but he is a good doctor so that makes it ok. I dont' think so.
Great news! If you are looking for a new OBGYN, mine is terrific. She's at Trident. Christine Case. 572-5001. I just saw her this week. She got me through a tough pregnancy with diabetes and I just can't say enough about her - she's so compassionate and caring. Just a suggestion - don't know your specifications. Hope to see you tonight. I have your necklace order completed.
Love, B

I am SOOOO Happy for you!!! Glad you did it!! If I were in your shoes, and had the option to choose, I would be going to MUSC as all your medical records from the RNY are there, and if any problems should arise, you are in the system, and they can grab Dr. Morgan/Dr. Byrne asap!
I will never go back to prime again, and only did prime to get the surgery as MUSC won't take standard for the surgery. The only rule is you cannot go back to Prime for a year, so hurt me please, as it is wonderful being standard. If we were staying here, I would stay with my internal med. doctor at Carolina Family care, which is part of MUSC, and also all my MUSC doc's....its the best care I have ever had...so, you are in the best of care with them....my 2 cents!
Love ya Kylee....keep in touch, I will always be posting!
Deb
