OT: More about my Brother
Hi all you South Carolinians,
Well, I have to say this week has really been a mixed bag. Sweet because I have seen relatives I haven't seen in years and years and sad because my brother is sliding further and further from us.
He has been moved from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center to the Hospice Home in Greenwood. What a wonderful place. Everyone has stopped sticking him, and poking, and xray and lab and yaddah , yaddah, yaddah.
He was finally diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma. Very aggressive and not a good prognosis at all. But the family has decided to forego all treatment per my bother's wishes and let him go. He has said he "Just wants to go home to meet Jesus and not be messed with anymore."
He gets regular pain meds and is made as comfortable as can be.
Thankyou for all your prayers and kind words. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to make this journey with my bother.
Greenville/Spartanburg peeps I will see you on the 7th unless he passes on that day.
Take care all and thankyou,
Nancy from California
