UPDATE ON DAWN...

I just spoke with Dawn and I wish you all could see the huge smile on my face. She sounded so good. She is feeling much better with the chest tube in. Of course she is having pain and discomfort from that , but the nausea, shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, and chest pain have all subsided. she said that she actually feels like it is going to get better!!!!!! That is the first time she has felt that way since surgery. They may take the chest tube out tomorrow and then they will focus on the fistula between the pouch and her stomach. Please keep sending up prayer.....God is good!!!!! Melissa

Just let me say that Dawn is on the mend The difference between Friday, when she was readmitted, and today is like night and day. OK, if you're still thinking it's too soon to know for sure...she ate a whole container of green jello, and wasn't nauseus even a little bit. That cinched it for me I'm still holding a grudge against jello Green jello, or any other flavor can send me over the edge even now She looks awesome, she's smiling, chatting away, and laughing at the goofy stuff I say, even after having her pain meds. OK, so maybe it was the pain meds, and not my witty sense of humor Any who, she's doing soooooooo much better, that I lefted her room feeling so greatful, relieved, and thankful...smiling, and greeting everyone I saw all the way to my car. I am sooooo happy to hear about Dawn feeling better. She has really been on my heart lately. I know she has really been through a lot lately. Thanks for the update. Pam

AMEN....GOD IS GOOD! I'm so thankful to hear that Dawn is doing so much better. I have thought about her every day and prayed steadily that she would be made whole. Praise be to God!
