I am home :)

Got home yesterday afternoon, but couldn't get over to the puter. Everything has gone so well! Surgery went smoothly, recovery has been going very well. I had no problems with nausea or tolerating liquids. I had a protein shake for breakfast this morning, and it wasn't too bad. lol I think the worst part has been my foot! When I went to stand up for my leak test on Wed, I felt a sharp stabbing pain by my ankle...thought maybe a blood vessel broke or something, though I didn't see any bruising. Well yesterday, the pain moved to my heel, and it's making it really hard for me to walk! So please pray the foot pain goes away! I have an appt. on Monday morning with Dr. Rowitz, and I'll talk to him about it if it isn't any better. Having a little bit of the post surgery blues today, but not so bad. I couldn't be happier with how well surgery and the hospital stay went. The kids are intrigued by my lap wounds. lol So far they are healing well...Lord willing they will heal up with no problems. They took the drain out before I left for the hospital, so I'm very happy about that! So here I am....sleeping is still very uncomfy since I only like sleeping on my side. Can't do that yet! I kept my little angel by the bed. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate you!! yeah!!! i'm glad you are home. sorry about the blues though. i tried to call on thursday but had no luck. it just rang. i figured either you were walking or in the potty . glad you are doing well. and keep up that protein.
