NEED HELP ABOUT A HIGH SCHOOL

Jane Edwards MS CE Williams Wando HS James Island Charter HS Charleston Academy HS Gareet HS West Ashley HS DOESE ANY BODY KNOW ANY THING ABOUT ANY OF THE SCHOOLS LISTED ?PLEASE HELP I DO NOT WANT MY CHILD GOING TO NCHARLESTON SCHOOL NOW WE HAVE A CHANCE TO SEND HIM SOME WHERE ELSE THNKS BECKY

Well, there is no secret that people live in Mt P to send their kids to Wando. I had my 2 sons there, my oldest graduated from there....its okay. I took my youngest out because I prefer a Christian education, and Harrison went to First Baptist Mt Pleasant, and it is an awesome school. I know Wando is good, but one of the teachers there said if the kids wore all black on Friday 13th she would give them all an A for an assignment. Tyler went to her and said it was against his belief and she would not make the exception for him, so he did not get the extra credit. I was very proud of him. If I had known about the teacher's extra credit I would have gone out and bought an all black Jesus Saves t shirt and had him wear black jeans with it. So, that is my 2cents. I graduated from James Island before it was a charter school and back then it had a very good reputation. Wando is suppose to be very good also. Is the Gareet the same as Garret HS, I do not know if you want to send your child there, it was a rough school when I was in HS. But that was years ago. I do not know if that was of much help. I am not sure about the middle schools. Good Luck Julie
