Spartanburg Area Support Group

Hi SC!!! I recently , moved here from another state where we had a great OH support meeting once a month. We played games, talked about everything from OH ~ poop problems~ husbands, wifes, EVERYTHING! We eveen had weigh ins ...for those of us who wanted too..... IE .... NOT ME! :-) I would love to be able to continue that here, I live in Gaffney, and would love to know if there is already a support group established around here, and if not, I would be more than happy to organize one if anyone is interested in attending once a month or so. I am still trying to remember my login info from before the move so I had to get a new account to post and put my new email in my new OH profile is...ummm...leaving a little to be desired....to say the least but sooner or later ( Lord willing) I will remember my old login info or OH will send it to me and I'll get it up and going again...in the meantime, ANYONE interested in attending a support group for the Spartanburg, Gaffney, blacksburg, Chesness, area, please email me ASAP and I will start getting all the details ironed out, and if anyone knows of an established group please let me know..... THanks

heya from Gaffney ..... I'm still preop for now still waiting on my insurance to approve..... they've requested more info so having to wait till dr.'s office sends that in for them to finish up on the review...... I think they have a support group that meets in greenville but that is way too far for me to go.... (( I drive but I'm not very good in busy cities)) furthest I would be able to go is Spart. Stephie

Greenville is too far for me to go every month, although the people seem great there, I may try to attend there next meeting but I would love to get one together for the spartanburg/gaffney area. I am going to start working on it now, please email me if you have any sugestions, or ideas, or anything. I hope to get our first meeting ready for early next month. yes, we have one in greenville and have people from spartanburg attending. maybe we can meet in a more central location. we have a blast. last night lasted forever, i was there 3 hours and was the 3rd to leave!! there were still 5 or 6 left. we would love for you to come.

Hi, Greenvillle is a bit out of my way to attend bi-weekly so I think I am going to get together with a few other people and see what we can get going around here, however, I really would love to come and meet all of you, I am hoping to be able to come in July. I'm excited to be able to meet and hang out with all of ya'll! Maybe some of you could migrate down here for our meeting once in a while too! Thanks for the info and the invite! Lizzy

Hi We have an upstate meeting that meets in Greenville, usually every other week. WE have a few friends from Spartanburg that come. WE usually meet some place close to the interstate for convenience since we also have some from pickens county that come. We would love to have you join us. Our next meeting will be Thursday july 6th. Melissa

Hi Elizabeth, I'm Debra and I live in Spartanburg. The Groop in Greenville is GREAT! I also go to a support group at the hospital which is a little more structured. But I would LOVE to get a new group together here in Spartanburg, I have talked to a couple of gals about it all ready. I for one can use all the support groups I can get!.
