calcium Citrate

Hey ladies!!! Got a question.......what are yall taking or what type and where to buy calcium Citrate. I went to the Vitamin Shoppe and was sold a few NASTY tasting things....which I will be taking back today. I was extremely hesitant to buy the protein stuff, but what can I say, she was a good saleswoman. i bought Nectar protein stuff...TERRIBLE!!!! I bought those horse tabs of calcium citrate, the wafers that are chewable......NASTY just about threw up with just one bite and then I was talked into buying isopure that was blue in a bottle.....GROSS.....So needles to say, I will be taking all that back. The manager told I could get my money back, if I did not like it. AND boy was it all TERRIBLE. I did buy some very small multi vitamin, that works great for me. So what are some other things to take to get the calcium citrate? Thanks, Chell

I take Citracal Creamy Bites. They are calcium citrate + D. You can get them at Walmart or Target. They have them in Chocolate, caramel and lemon. They aren't too bad. Kathy

I use the Citracal chews also. I got the Chocolate Mint and it cures the sweet tooth. I do not take them every day just when I want something sweet. Other than that I take the horse pills. I found coated ones and I do not have much trouble with them. As for protein, I get my mix from Wal-Mart, since I mix in other stuff, carnation instant breakfast, PB, banana, fromzne fruit, I can not really taste the protein mix. Hope this helps Julie
