Hi Patti! My surgery is on Tuesday, so I'll be interested to hear what everyone has to say! At this point, I have my full liquid phase foods bought for when I get home, plenty of lip balm for the hospital stay, and I'll be bringing something VERY loose and comfy to wear home. Not sure what else I should be preparing! Prayers for a smooth surgery and easy recovery for you! ~ Elizabeth

HEY PATTI!!!! WOOHOOO you're almost a LOSER!!! This was my want/need list before surgery, hope it helps. WISHING U A super FAST recovery!!! *Gas X Chewables(for post-op gasoline) *Dramamine Chewables(for post op nausea) *Centrum Chewables *B12 liquid *Adult Liquid Tylenol(for pain) *Chewable Vit C *Calcium chews *Pill Crusher *Magic Bullet *SF puddin *SF jello *SF popsicle *SF Instant Breakfast *Skim milk *Chicken BRoth *Cream Soups(must be strained) *SF Yogurt *SF Flavored Waters(crystal lights, koolaid) *Protein Samples(don't want to waste money on a big tub) *Sippy Cup(to prevent gulping) *Baby Spoon(for smaller bits) FYI: the magic bullet is the BOMB also, I crushed up bouillon cubes to add a little flavor to my chicken broth It made it soooo much more yummy oooo and unflavored protein too, it changed the color a little but you can't taste it. I also add protein to my puddin. For the protein shakes, the less fluid you put in them the less you have to try and drink, for mine I add one scoop of protein(ex.chocolate), 1/2 cup of 1%milk or less and about 1/2 cup of crushed ice blend in the magic bullet, and it fills a small coffee cup full. hUMM if i think of anything else i'll post.. hope this helps.. the best protein for me so far is Whey Tech Chocolate (Vitamin Shoppe brand) It is wonderfulllll. hugs, nora
