HOme FROM Surgey!!!

To all my GREAT friends on OH!! I just want to give you all the biggest hugs and say thank you for all the wonderful emails and prayers you sent my way for surgery!!! You all are the most amazing group of people, and I thank God that I was lead to this website and found you!!! I thank you from the core of my heart!! Thank you thank you To my Angel Dianne, thank you so much for all your kind words and support. My husband and I are so happy we got to meet you!!! Your gift basket is the absolute BEST and LIFE SAVER!!! Thank you so much it has gotten me through this weekend and has gave me the opportunity to save lots of money. My favorite so far is the Whey Tech choc also, We are going back to Vitamin shoppe today to buy some more!!! Thank you thank you!!! My surgery went great, the hospital stay was out of this world, I slept like a baby, believe it or not. Dr. Ross is the Most Greatest doctor/surgeon EVER!! He is so personable, My family and I adore him, he's more than my surgeon he's my Friend! I would totally recommend anyone in the area who is considering the surgery to Please go to his seminar, he is wonderful!!! He and his staff took great care of me and my family!!!! I've been doing great since I got home on Friday. I've been getting in about 50oz of liquids and 40grams of protein. That's the best I can do right now. I will try harder today. I have been walking and doing my arm/legs exercise religiously. I went to Walmart and the Vitamin Shop yesterday and walked so much it brought on my first POOP!!! It was nice to finally get rid of some of this gasoline!! My drain is aggravating me to death, I cannot wait to have it removed on WED. My scales show I have lost 13 pounds, but I will confirm on Wed when I go to have the drain removed. My husband is home taking the best care of me, SHHH I am taking advantage of the situation and Umm getting him familiar with the chores he never has to do. The best thing so far about the surgery is that I have not had to take ANY BLOOD SUGAR medications, My sugars have been PERFECT!!!! WOOOHOOOO!! It's unreal!!!! Hey Nora It was awesome to meet you and your family, too!! I was very happy to help you with support and protein samples. I'm so glad that you are feeling so well...and that you have had your first poop!! !! And no Blood Sugar medication is awesome!! You are right about Dr. Ross (and all the wls staff)....he is the best. Can't wait for my next visit. I hated the drain myself. I was so ready for it to come out. I kept pulling on the stitch and it HURT so much!!! Don't worry....Wednesday will be here soon!! You got the best hubby...I'm sure that he doesn't mind doing the chores. If you are feeling up to it, try to come to our Upstate group meeting at Jasons Deli on Thursday at 7 pm. I'll be there, then going to work afterward. Hope you can make it!! Hugs, Dianne
