Prayers for Suuz! Pneumonia!
Poor Suuz called me today. She is so happy that her surgery date has been moved up to the 6th, but she went to the doctor because she has had a cold for several weeks. Well, they diagnosed her with walking pneumonia and now her surgery is in question. She's resting and taking her meds, but she needs our good thoughts and prayers.

Hey Everyone I'm Still Here and I want to thank all of you from my whole heart for all the well wishes and encouragement I've received since my Sweet Angel Ms. Barbara posted regarding my illness. It's meant so much to me that those of you whom I have not had the pleasure of speaking with or exchanging posts or emails found it in your hearts to leave best wishes as well. What a wonderful group of folks we have on this board ! May God bless all of you.
I do have pneumonia...when I went to my doctor on Friday morning I was a sight for sore eyes. I warned my doctor before I showed up for my appointment that I didn't feel like bathing and I might not brush my hair. For me to go anywhere without being bathed, hair fixed, and alittle makeup on is major sickness for me. 
As far as it being walking pneumonia well I'm not doing much walking that's for sure! And my pcp never said what kind of pneumonia it was. My mom asked me if it was in both lungs and I couldn't answer that question. I could only say that it felt like it to me. I feel like I have a bowling ball on my chest and my back is still hurting. Even my rib cage is sore. I didn't know the proper questions to ask my pcp and she sure didn't go into detail or volunteer any information and if she had I might not have remembered due to feeling so miserable. I just wanted to be made well. What I had in my mind when I called to make the appointment was my surgery...I just wanted to nip whatever it was in the bud because I had surgery coming up in a few days. After the doctor got the chest xrays back she told me that my surgery would have to be postponed I just wanted to bawl right there in the office but I made it to the car. I just felt tooo bad to hear that. To make matters worse...they weighed me and I have managed to gain another pound. I've been on leviquin 500mg. and my fever finally left yesterday and replaced by cold sweats. I'm drenched as I type. Haven't had an appetitite at all but have managed to get down a couple cans of chicken noodle soup since Friday. I've been drinking lots of liquids but I'm still not producing the kind of sputum
I assumed I'd have at this point. Maybe the medication just dries it up. I don't know I've never had pneumonia before. My doctor at the air force base told me to finish the medication and if i'm not feeling remarkably better by that time.. to return.
I do feel better...not remarkably better but I have 3 more days of antibiotic and then we'll see. I'm actually able to sit here and type which is something I haven't felt like doing in days. I haven'****ched t.v. or done much other than be miserable, I've been sleeping 
since last Tuesday and it took all I had within me to go in to see the doctor Friday morning. The fevers and muscle & bone pains were the worst. Plus the HEADACHE! I've had a headache since last Thursday that won't go away. It may be from the pneumonia but it's relentless.
Please continue to keep me in your prayers.
On a really sad note....
My WLS had to be postponed and that has almost crushed me. I just feel like I've been waiting forever and almost made it to the day and this. Now I'll have to get a clearance from my pcp and fax it to Dr. Bryne's office before we can schedule another date. With Dr. Bryne being in such great demand I'm worried that it might be awhile. I'm really trying to stay positive. I've shed a many tears about this but that's all I can do. I guess it just wasn't my time.
Sorry if this post has been alittle choppy but I've had to type it in intervals because I'm so weak.
Anyways just wanted to post and thank everyone for their support and let you know I'm still here.

But better safe than sorry right?
Hang in there Sweetie. Everything has it's time and place...and the reasons aren't always revealed to us. We can't see the whole picture like God can. So, keep that chin up and know that it's in His time not ours... things will align when the time is right.
