Updates on Libby and Nora

Hey Ya'll, I finally made it to the hospital last night (since I finally had a day (night) off) to check on my angelettes Libby and Nora. Libby was fast asleep. Her room was completely black and she was in lala land. I left her a little care package, and let her sleep. Nora later told me that she had been having a little trouble with her breathing, but I haven't been able to find out much more. She was supposed to go home today. Nora had a room full of people....her awesome husband , her mother and mother in law. Nora's story isn't like a lot of us, because she gained weight very quickly due to hypothyroidism. Just 7 years ago she was only 120 lbs. So she has seen both sides of the weight issue and how people can change when you gain weight. She has trememdous support from her family. Nora was having some discomfort in her pouch area (they did the leak test yesterday) after she was allowed to drink. I'm hoping that she was feeling better this morning...that maybe she had just tried to drink too fast. Her husband, Michael, is so devoted to her . He changed her footies for her while I was there and is going to be such an encourager for her during her journey. He said that he was going to eat the same thing that she ate, so she wouldn't feel deprived of anything. What an awesome man.....(I'm thinking...why didn't I ask if he had an older brother????). I'll try to call later today!! I've had a hard time, because my sleep patterns are so screwed up with working 3rd shift. Thankfully this will change in only a few more weeks. Thanks for the update!! I know you are soooo busy. You are the bomb!!! I am glad to hear everything is going well with Libby and Nora. Hopefully Dianne, you can get them to come to our meeting!!!! I would love to meet them. Melissa
