I THANK YOU, I THANK YOU, I THANK YOU!!!

I finally made time to update my profile...and while updating I thought about all the wonderful people I've come to know, and how I'm sure my path will cross with many more... You all have touched my life. My heart is full!!! This is what I wrote... I realize that a lot of people eventually drop away from the Forums. Maybe they've reached thier goals, maybe they're dissapointed because things didn't quite work out the way they thought they would, maybe all thier questions were answered, or maybe they're just busy living thier lives, and moved on. Whatever the reasons, people move on. So, I've decided that while I'm here I'm going to show kindness, caring, and love to as many folks as I can. I remember how alone I felt. It was as if I was bobbing on the cellulite ocean all by myself. Then I found my way to OH and realized there were other ships on that ocean too. People we are not alone in our struggles...some of us truly care. I meen truly, truly care. You know who you are, you are like moonlight in the darkness. I can see you shining. I want to thank those of you that reach out, those who encourage, those who share, those who show compassion, those who make me laugh, those who make me cry, those who patiently, yet anxiously wait for insurance approval, psych evals, sleep studies, and surgery dates, those who almost go insane waiting, those who are unsure, those who know for them there is no other way, those who inspire, and those who are inspired, those who are fearful, along with them who are fearless, those who speak thier own truths no matter how tragic or painful, those who can't because the pain is too unbearable, those who judge not, when judging another is so easy, and most important, those of you who love with no strings attached. I Thank You, I Thank you, I Thank You!!! For I know I AM NOT ALONE!!!

Tonya you said that wonderfully! And I agree 100%. I am also grateful for all the support you and the others have showed me. I think this journey would have been alot harder without the support people have shown. I am so glad I found you guys. Hugs Julie

Hi Tonya! I have to agree with you 100%. When I was researching having WLS I ran across this site, I then found the SC board. Granted there wasn't much going on on this board at the time, but since my journey has begun I have had the privledge of watching all these wonderful people begin their journeys, reach their goals, and find support from the "old timers".
