You know me...I have been thinking about our next meeting, since the last!!! Lets plan next Thursday the 8th at 7 pm. I really enjoyed sitting outside last time, so I was thinking that maybe we could meet downtown. Does anyone know if they still have the music on thursday nights? Let me know what you all are thinking. I am open to any and all suggestions!!!! I am willing to meet anyone that wants to ride together since I know we have several friends that live past me in Pickens and Oconee counties!!!! Just let me know what you all want to do!!! Can't wait!!! Melissa

Can we bring our kiddos? My hubby has to work that night. I don't know how to get to downtown...but I'm game for whatever! ~ Elizabeth

Elizabeth! Absolutely!! Bring your kids. We had 2 at our last meeting. We are completely laid back and nothing fancy. We don't have to meet downtown, we can meet any where. If you have any ideas just throw them out there and we can decide. Like I said, we can get together and carpool!! Melissa

I'm ready for the next meeting anywhere is good for me. The onlything about doing it downtown is they have thursday night jazz and Parking really sucks, but downtown is really fun too. So whatever everyone decides works for me. Marcey

Marcey~ You are right about the parking. I didn't even think about that. That could be a pain. Any other suggestions? I would be happy going back to the ABC. I thought it was great last week. Melissa

Hey Melissa, I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone next week. I agree that the parking in downtown G'ville might cause some problems. I wish I had a brilliant solution to our meeting place dilemma ... we need a restaurant owner among us like the LCBB's have! Oh well, ABC is fine ... there's one off I-85 at Pelham Road too (Exit 54), right next to the Interstate. Might be easier to not deal with Woodruff Road that way. Whatever y'all decide will be fine with me! Love you, Dawn

If you are set on outside seating, Joe's crab shack in Restaurant row on Pelham has outside seating. I don't know if their menu will agree with all of our restrictions though. We'll have to decide if we are up to the test! Other than that, I really have no suggestions. I'll show up wherever we decide. Kathy

Hey, I looked at the menu for Joe's and it was scary. i don't know that I'm ready for that. It doesn't matter to me about being outside. I just thought it was nice. What other places are over there? I don't really know that side of town very well. Maybe even a nice coffee shop. I don't drink coffee, but that's ok. Help me think of some place!! Melissa

Melissa, In that area off Pelham Road, there's a Macaroni Grill (Italian) , On The Border (Mexican), Logan's Roadhouse (steaks and such), and a Stax Grill (a possibility maybe, the menu there is large). There's also a Ruby Tuesday on Pelham, close to I-85. Other ideas that have popped into my fuzzy head: Panera Bread Company, with a menu similar to ABC. There's a new one on Woodruff Road. Also, Jason's Deli, on Wood's Crossing, right off Haywood Road. Don't know about the seating there, I've never been. On Haywood, there's an O' Charley's, and a nearby Applebee's, and a Barnes & Noble coffee shop. Also, nearer to I-385 on Woodruff, there's a Chili's, an Applebee's, McCallister's Deli, and another Barnes and Noble. That is as far as fuzzyheaded Dawn can go right now. I hope someone will jump in here and help you decide. I am truly OK with anywhere. Love, Dawn
