Blood sugar Levels
Well I now know why I have been feeling as bad as I have lately. I had been putting everything off as having to do with the pregnancy. I mean you are supposed to be tired when you are pregnant right. Well, I picked up a glucose monitor to monitor my levels so that Iw on't have to take the traditional GD test later on. well in the last couple of days even with eating I am averaging between 38 and 68 my highest being of course after eating.
Granted this just goes to how that I need to work on eating more often but when nothing is staying down I'm not sure what else I can do. Keep teasing Jerimy that he just needs to deal with everything and wake me up when the baby gets here.
Sad thing is I an't even tolerrate my Power Cruch bars.. and I used to love them!! UGGH the joys of pregnancy.
Think I am just going to have to start living off Miss Cheryl's wings since that is the only thing that sounds good lately LOL.
Hey!
Be sure you follow up immediately with your OB doc. Blood sugars that low are dangerous for you and the baby. Do you have a nutritionist with your Bypass doc? If so you should call them as well and get in to see them. Your baby needs your blood sugars to be normal so that baby can grow normally. I don't want to scare you, I just want you and baby to be safe!! Keep us posted!! Hopefully, you will be back to eating regularly very soon!!!

Girl, you can't put any of this off even one more minute. Blood sugars aren't anything to fool around with. I am diabetic and I know what I'm talking about! Make sure your daughter knows how to dial 911 and DO NOT get behind the wheel of a car unless you have decent blood sugars, because you are taking everyones' lives into your hands, including people you don't know. You are all too precious for that. It's far past the point of you not feeling well. You are on the verge of passing out at any time. You can fall and hit your head, or not wake up in the morning. I Know you don't want to lose this baby. I hate to be so harsh with you, but I love you, Kylee. This is not to be taken lightly.
If you can tolerate crackers, eat them and keep them on hand, because the carbohydrates will bring your blood sugars up. Check your blood sugars every hour until you have this under control. You need to see a nutritionist NOW, whether or not your insurance covers it. Do it NOW!!
Love, B

IT'S TIME TO GET TO YOUR DOCTOR, RIGHT NOW. THOSE LEVELS ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS NOT ONLY FOR YOU BUT FOR YOUR BABY. NICK'S WENT DOWN IN THE 30s FROM SOME MEDS & HE ALMOST WENT INTO A COMA - LUCKY WE WERE AT OUR DAUGHTER'S & OUR SON-IN-LAW IS A NURSE!
DO NOT DRIVE ... LISTEN TO ME ... DO NOT DRIVE. NICK ACTUALLY PASSED OUT AT THE WHEEL WITH ME & OUR 3 GRANDBABIES IN THE CAR GOING 70 MPH DOWN I-26 ... THAT'S HOW WE FOUND OUT HE HAD BLOOD SUGAR PROBLEMS. I WAS SCREAMING AT HIM & SHAKING HIM TRYING TO WAKE HIM ... DO NOT CHANCE DRIVING.
HOW ABOUT PEANUT BUTTER CRACKERS? THE CRACKERS FOR QUICK CARBS & THE PEANUT BUTTER IS USUALLY TOLERATED BY HYPO/HYPERGLYCEMICS VERY WELL. KEEP A TON WITH YOU IF YOU CAN TOLERATE THEM & NIBBLE ON THEM CONSISTENTLY. BE SURE TO UP YOUR FLUIDS OR YOU COULD GET CONSTIPATED.
I WANNA HEAR THAT YOU SAW YOUR DOC LIKE RIGHT NOW! IF YOUR IDIOT OF A DOC DOESN'T GET YOU IN ASAP, THEN THROW A FIT & BE SURE TO TELL THEM YOUR NUMBERS!
