I learned something I wanted to share

Hi Everyone, I am so glad to hear Dawn is doing better! When I spoke to Melody and she told me how dry her mouth got right after the surgery , I am in the medical field and thought that there has to be something to help that...right?? Some of you may know about this but since I figured I never heard about it maybe there were others.. There is something called lemon swab, it is on a real big q-tip and has a lemon flavor to it, you swallow nothing but it gives your mouth some moisture. I asked the nutritionist today and he said that was fine to use. Due to my OCD (thanks to Dr. Russell) haha I could not rely on anyone to have them at the hospital so I called around and at a local mom and pop pharmacy they sold them in a box with 3 per envelope. Hey Patti! Thanks for researching that!! Only Dr. Bour won't allow anything in your mouth... swab, wet wash cloth or anything due to the fact that when you put something in your mouth your body automatically thinks it is going to eat and starts to increase the acid production in your stomach and they don't want that to happen. I would check with Dr. Bour before you spend any money. Hope to meet you soon!! Melissa
